One of my favourite films is definitively Marley and me. I think it was really necessary to talk about pets in our life. In this film Marley –a dog- is the star. John and Jenny, a young couple, decide to get a pet as a kind of challenge thinking about having children in the future. At the beginning it is difficult to live with the dog due to his ‘skills’ to break and tear everything inside the house. As time goes by, John and Jenny realise that Marley has been a very important being in their lives and has shared with them the most wonderful moments including the arriving of their children and a lot of changes in their jobs. John has to make a hard decision when Marley get older and ill and needs help to leave this world.
I love this film, when I saw it, my dog Pecas just died. Pecas lived with me for twelve years. See "Marley and me", made me remember all my story lived with Pecas, so I cried a lot when I saw it. I think that this film is very special for people who have lost their pets.
