The idea for 2012 first occurred to writer/producer/composer Harald Kloser, Roland Emmerich’s writing partner. “Every civilization on Earth has a flood myth,” says Kloser. “Things are going wrong, society isn’t working anymore, and the planet starts over. Some people get a second chance to start a new culture, a new society, a new civilization.”
The idea crystallized as Kloser and Emmerich discovered a compelling hook on which to hang their contemporary flood story. The Mayan calendar is set to reach the end of its 13th cycle on December 21, 2012 – and nothing follows that date. That, of course, leads to the question – if the calendar doesn’t continue, what will follow? “You will find millions of people, from all walks of life, who believe that in 2012 there will be some kind of shift in society, or a shift in spirit,” says Kloser. The scope and variety of theories provided inspiration for Emmerich and Kloser as they penned their screenplay.
The key for the director, who is well known for box office hits such as Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow, would be to find a way to set 2012 apart from those disaster epics. “The more I talked with Harald about the story, the more I realized this is really something people today can relate to. There are a lot of philosophical and political elements, which I think add to the disaster element.”Central to that was creating characters that would experience those philosophical and political upheavals, in effect creating the disaster on a human scale. John Cusack stars as Jackson Curtis, a writer whose devotion to his failed-but-possibly-brilliant novel broke up his marriage and left his family in flux. But Jackson remains a loyal dad and he will prove he will do anything to save his family. Amanda Peet plays Jackson’s ex-wife, Kate, who maintains friendly contact with Jackson but has long tired of competing with his work for his attention. As the earth’s plates start to shift – destroying L.A. in the process – Jackson and his family will begin a desperate journey by land and air to survive to see the new world.

This assault to pearl harbor killed 2.403 men, destroyed 13 warships and 188 planes of war, the following day the president of The United Stated declared the war to japan and swore revenge. It was the worst assault to The United State in the Second World War.

I like this movie because is very interesting, the movie has especial effects, is warlike, this movie is on the Second World War, and I would like to see again.

MY SISTER'S KEEPER

Usually, We like watching horror films, but we talk about which films choose and we conclude that the best film is My sister's keeper, the thriller was shown on TV with the participation of Cameron Diaz, that day we decided to see the film again.

Is a strong emotional a film with a big messager about life and very interesting because the plot changes unexpectedly, when you take a position and you must think if your position is right. The film is a story about how a family face a serious illness. Sara and Brian Fitzgerald are parents of Kate and Jesse. Kate is two years old, she has leukemia and the only hope of saving her, is to conceive a baby (Anne) compatible with her. But Anne is 11 years old now and she demands the right to control her own body. In this moment, Kate's lives depends on Anne, and the Fitzgerald's family must make the hardest decision.

The cast is Cameron Diaz (Sara), Abigail Breslin (Anne), Sofia Vassilieva (Kate) and Alec Baldwin (Anne's lawyer). The story and acting make this film an excellent recommended.

My favorite film is 300 ,its plot is about king Leonidas and the kingdom of sparta,this story begin when the persas send a message to leonidas doing a declaration of war Between persas y spartans but leonidas decides to fight with an army of 300 soldiers. But in the end leonidas die by sparta.

I think that this film is really good because it has an excellent Photography,it is a film with many action and every scene is interesting there aren´t boring parts and during the movie you learn some history .Leonidas is represented by gerard butler. that in my opinion gerard butler is a excellent actor because he contributes much to the film.

The movie begin´s with a roman general his name is Maximo, he fight´s with Germany tribe and he win´s the combat. The emperor Marco Aurelio decided Maximo nominate as emperor but the emperor distrusts of his son Comodo, Comodo decided to kill to his father by nominate to Maximo as emperor of Roma and decided to kill to Maximo and send to army to kill Maximo´s family. So Maximo fight´s with the army who want to kill him but Maximo win the fight and riden a horse and he went to his house but found his family dead.

Maximo is obliged to be a slave and is forced to be gladiator and Maximo becomes a gladiator famous in little time he travelled to Roma. he decided avenge the death of his family. Maximo has different fighting in Rome and is very dear to the Romans and Comodo decides to fight with Maximus. Maximo fight in the sand in a battle and finally striking good he wins the battle and surrender to Rome to the gentlemen of the Senate and finally Maximo dies as a hero and on his deathbed he sees his family waiting for him.

last week, at midnight, I saw that movie, at the beginning I thought I will not enjoy that film, but along the story, it caught my attention in many of the situations of the movie. In this moment I am still thinking that was a stunning and original story. It's an Indian film; it was released in January of 2009 in USA.

The Plot is pretty interesting. The film shows the reality of a violent society through the eyes a teen from the slums of Mumbai, a young man orphaned who grew up there and fought for his freedom and to defend their love for one woman. One day he decides to enter in a game show questions, called “who wants to be a millionaire” and When Jamal was close to reach the grand prize, the police arrested him on suspicion of cheating, The police don’t understand how a street child knows so much. They simply couldn't believe that a common "slumdog" had the necessary knowledge to get this far in the game, and for this reason Jamal is interrogated by the authorities. Jamal desperate to prove his innocence and in order to convince them he's telling the truth, and begins to tell the story of his childhood and teen in the slums where he and his older Brother Salim grew up together, the same slum where they lost their mother in a mob attack on Muslim and in which Jamal met Latika, the girl he loved and lost. Those unfortunate events, forced these both of children to rely on their own ingenuity to survive, with her beautiful friend Latika; they sought out food and shelter on the dangerous streets of Mumbai for long time. All events from his life history are the key that explain why he knows the answers of the game show.

To Jamal the life on the streets was never easy, His life was hard and full of obstacles, but thanks to those bitter experiences, he could Acquire enough knowledge to answer the questions on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?; what curious the story is that Jamal’s main interest was never reaching the grand prize, Jamal's real reason to be in the game show was find his beloved Latika .

The end this young man without desire for riches, won the Game Show and came back with Latika, his first and only love.

The acting of the characters is wonderful. I saw “who wants to be a millionaire” with my older brother and two friends, we were surprised by the film's plot. It's a Drama with Indian actors and is suitable for over 16. I want you to see this movie that I enjoyed very much. It is very interesting. You will fall in love with the plot.

PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS: THE LIGHTNING THIEF

We like, Percy Jackson And The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, both the story as the scenes, the history about the semi-gods is good; is a story full of mythology, action and adventure, and we considered that the special effects are fantastic. The history is different and the fights among de semi-god are interesting, because they have different powers that they use to protect.

Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman) is a young with different problems in his school and in his life, he discovers that is Poseidon's son, and he will go to camp the semi-gods to practices.

The Zeus' lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect...So He and his friends decided to travel, and so find the true thief, save Percy's mom and avert a war among the gods, but on the way they face many enemies.

The director is Chris Columbus, and some actors are: Logan Lerman, Brandon T. Jackson, Alexandra Daddario, Sean Bean, Pierce Brosnan, Steve Coogan, Rosario Dawson, Catherine Keener, among others. All their performances are excellent, and we going to see again.

My favorite movie is avatar because it has special interesting, and exciting effects. It is a science fiction history in which an army of human faces an alien army in a distant planet. In the distant moon of Pandora, a hero infiltrates in this culture where he was assigned to a mission of infiltrating among the Na'vi humans have an obstacle for the extraction of a valuable mineral. But a beautiful Na'vi, Neytiri, saves the life of Jake, and this change everything. Jake is accepted by her clan, and he gets ready to become one of them, what implies many tests and adventures. At the end Jake saves the planet and falls in love with Neytiri.

It premiered in 2009, it was best film drama, soundtrack, song and science fiction and best director James Cameron, according to the golden globes. It loved this film and I would like to see it again.

TRANSPORTER 3

I like this movie because it has great scenes of action and the tematic of Transporter 3 is so in that movie we can watch how the narcotraficant's send and felt the Heroin in Europe and begin the toxic war. Frank Martin has to drive very fast across eastern Europe whith the ukranian girl(Valentina)to prevent their bracelets burst and they die. I felt really thilled during the movie with the action that it's possible to see in this movie.The actors of the movie have experience and they are very recognized world wide.

I could not watch his movie at cinema because when I went to see a movie then was not longer in a theatre. But I think seeing the movie in cinema should be more exciting than at home the sound and picture quality. They should put it back on and I will never feel tired to see a movie that filled my expectations.

All discover, Kate designed the plan so she could rest in peace.

My favorite film is UP because It's an excellent film. It's a comedy movie with great animation and funny story.
The plot is about a 78 year-old man, Carl Fredricksen, who all his life wanted to go to South America with his home after his wife dies, because their dream when she was alive was to know Paraiso's Waterfall. He depressed a lot. But one day one little scout, Rusell, appears in his door and all his life change. Around Carl's house is building and the company wants to remove his house because It is in the middle of the construction. He doesn't want to sell his house and one day Carl fights with a worker and the company calls to a nursing to take care of him, but he scapes with helium balloons in his house and flies away from there to South America when his dream will come true. In the middle of the sky he finds Rusell. They don't know that this day will change their life.

I love this movie because It made me cry and laught for their wonderful story and great animated actors.

One of my favourite films is definitively Marley and me. I think it was really necessary to talk about pets in our life. In this film Marley –a dog- is the star. John and Jenny, a young couple, decide to get a pet as a kind of challenge thinking about having children in the future. At the beginning it is difficult to live with the dog due to his ‘skills’ to break and tear everything inside the house. As time goes by, John and Jenny realise that Marley has been a very important being in their lives and has shared with them the most wonderful moments including the arriving of their children and a lot of changes in their jobs. John has to make a hard decision when Marley get older and ill and needs help to leave this world.
